Paisley Underground

Coming out of California in the 1980s, the Paisley Underground mixed 60s garage-psych with a moody, modern edge. It was a scene driven by texture, layered guitars, and an effortless subcultural style. Capturing it on camera meant framing that sweet spot where bohemian nostalgia met the raw, immediate feel of an underground club.
